The map/level design
I'm in the hospital. My obnjective is to "return to the blue door". There is no blue door on my map (the objective is insinuating that I've been there, but didn't have access at the time). Why is the location not marked on the map? I've spent 30 minutes running around looking for a door in a poorly VERY poorly designed level.... is this how the whole game is? Samey looking hallways with no sense of progression/advancement?

Only the first level and a small part of the second level are like this, albeit i didn't have any issues with getting lost in the hospital. The other levels are much more open and less "hallway-room-hallway"

I assume you are in the third section of the hospital, the blue door is just down the hallway from where you entered through the vent system.

Passing by the blue door should have marked it on your map, however if you never went near it at all it wouldn't have yet registered on the map.

I must not have gotten close to that door to activate it on my map, when I initially entered the area. I found it, though.

it truly is a mess of backtracking and pointless playtime stretching (which is totally unnecessary honestly) with the whole keycard shenanigans.

yeah. i get the whole exploaration aspect, but the wow effect drops fast as well.

The backtracking doesn't take longer than a minute. You are making it look worse than it really is.

Open the map, find the door you need, and move. It's all only a few seconds worth of walking.
