Changing dificulty mid game
Is there any work around to be able to change difficulty mid game?
and if there's any dev here, is there a plan in adding this?
I'm playing on the second hardest difficulty and feeling I should have went with the hardest instead, not that the game is easy, but I like a more intense challenging, used to play doom eternal DLC on nightmare/ult nightmare.

No workaround, but yes we absolutely have plans to add this.

It's high on the priority list even.

I set a too difficult setting and can't even play the game. I wouldn't start all over from the beggining though. I'll wait for this feature.

You can change the difficulty after saving, but it's a bit complicated, requiring manual editing of a file that resides inside the savegame file.

You will need to save and exit the current map (exit to menu is enough, you don't need to exit the whole game), then change the "skill" value inside the file named globals.json that resides within the savegame file which itself is in ZIP format just with a changed file extension (.zds).

You're welcome. I hope it helped.

If in doubt, you can always check the current skill level by entering "skill" on the console. It ranges from 0 to 4.
