If so, look under the actual bar. There's a button under there that does something.
You see the lasers on the side of sals bar?
Look on the wall and you can see an electrical box. Shoot that and the lasers will deactivate
Then you take the barrel into there and you use the barrel to jump up into a vent.
I can't find this basement floor anywhere and the hidden elevator takes you somewhere else entirely with a keypad.
Is there a log i missed somewhere with a code? or am i just not seeing where this basement access is?
Press Use on the keypad.
it's a little weird that this keypad doesnt bring up a code-- the two invulnerable turrets next to it really suggest that you don't want to accidentally enter the wrong code so i never even bothered trying to interact with it and spent quite some time running around the bar and combing through my datapad.
This is what happened to me lmao. When she just beep boops it in i laughed.
I haven't had much problems navigating but this is the second time i wasted time over thinking something simple.
I'd suggest making a change to the wording of this objective, something to the tune of "Find keypad/switch to reveal hidden room", or just change the keypad to a simple switch.
Why have it as a keypad then? Or not have any indicator one should press the use key on the keypad? Like have unique text saying something different from others, or just make it a switch? I just ran around as well for a solid 30 minutes looking for a data pad, bc I just came off of the library puzzle and thought it was just well hidden.
Because it's meant to be a secret base Dawn knows about. The keypad makes it seem more secretive.
The issue is how we didn't get the unique keypad asset in time that made it more obvious that it's not a regular keypad that requires a code. When you have a 10 hour long campaign to keep track of, it's easy for a mistake to creep its way into the campaign. These things happen in Early Access.
This one threw me as well; I ran around for awhile trying to find a datapad or some hidden code written on a wall. I eventually just quick saved to see what would happen if I used the keypad. Using one of the hand scanner switches would have been a good indicator and still fit with the narrative from the expository datalogs.
