Game wont start..

i click play through steam ofc... for a second or two the "play" changes"... and then just shows play again.. game wont even go into main menu before closing.

Can you try running Selaco using the .exe in the game folder directly?

well,, that Worked !.. though, i really dont want to go through all the maps to get there everytime i start the game.. : /

i want to use steam as i always do since i have alot of stuff on the desktop already..
but guess it will have to do untill fixed.. might refund and rebuy at a later time..

to go through all the maps into the exe file works Yes.. but i brought it on steam to start it through steam.. i dont want to have desktop shortcuts of my games, nither do i want to go through bunch of maps everytime i want to start the game.

I was having the same issue, the game won't launch through Steam if I choose the Vulkan or OpenGL options. If I try to run any of the .bat files it closes itself after a second (https://i.imgur.com/rbAsdQR.png) with nothing else happening.

If I choose the launch option that is simply "Play Selaco" then it works fine though.

I can launch the game's .exe directly (though that means no Steam features like achievements, Workshop mods, playtime counter, etc.).

Just edited my post at the same time you replied, in case you missed that I got it working by just using the regular "Play Selaco" option instead of the other two.

I think this might be a problem with the WorkshopDownloader tool we use for Steam interaction.

We need to see what error message you are getting.

Could you please browse to Selaco in Steam, right click on it in your game list and Select Manage->Browse Local Files.

Once the folder opens, click on File->Open in Windows PowerShell

In the Powershell window, type:

./workshopdownloader

You will probably see some sort of error. Please copy and paste the error here so we can check it out.

Actually it looks like launching it with just the "Play Selaco" option still isn't quite working, the Steam overlay works but nothing else like achievements and Workshop mods (I want red blood! )
