Answer: It's at the entrance of the Utility Area, look up, it's sitting on a vent
He's had a hard life already.
More Koalas do appear later in the game
Which, y'know, isn't remotely necessary because I won't use that upgrade anyway but man that's a long walk.
Are there any in the early game other than the one on the air ducts in Utility Area? I'd way rather backtrack.
I'm in the same spot, I walked backwards to the first level and there are none that i can find....
Honestly it's pretty frustrating that I'm basically locked out of an upgrade because I accidentally shot it
Hey man, this has honestly irritated me a lot about the game. Would really appreciate you considering making this less punishing.
I agree completely that it is a tad annoying, but I can assure you, later in the game there are several more Koalas to find, very easily too. So I'd mark the space down for later, and when you find another Koala, just grab it and warp on back. Not a major deal.
Look, if you buy a game in Early Access, things wont be perfect. This whole campaign is 10 hours long which is absurd for indie standards. The fact that we haven't heard about any serious soft locks is a miracle.
If a Koala is the biggest problem, then I think we have done a great job launching this game. Sorry it happened, it will be fixed, but these issues are to be expected from a game that isn't v1.0.
I actually did shoot it. Such is life.
The moment I saw that bear I knew there was something special about it, why else put it up there to make it look like a prized secret. But I would suggest to place another Koala on that very same level in even more secluded place. Or maybe near the end behind the bullet proof glass - for 5 thousand credits ;)
Everybody did. It hurts my heart
HIRE THIS MAN!
