I finished Cultic and I can tell ya it wasn't worth the price.
These mods/standalone doom games shouldn't be more than 10$, but yeah I agree some of them are really good but not 25$ good.

cultic isn't a mod or "standalone doom game", it's not even on gzdoom, it's on unity

But seriously, the price is good for a GAME, not a mod, and you get Chapter 2 and 3 free. That's way more gameplay than many other out there.

If its or not a doom mod because it uses Gzdoom is irrelevant, the price is based on the product and the job they made on the game make the game work, because... try to tell us any other game that makes this kind of wizardy with gzdoom.

And about cultic as far as I know the price was 10€ for the first episode, second dev said was planed to be another 10€ so, thats practically the same.

The game is not a doom mod. It's actually underpriced for the value you get.

Perhaps instead of buying 4k low tier games, save some money and buy less, higher quality ones?

There are tons on Steam you just have to look for them.
