NPC's Repeat Their "Intro" Dialogue Every Day - How Do I Fix This?

I posted in the bugs thread and finally got past the lighthouse quest in the game, but the NPCs in town are still acting like they have never met me every single day.

I've done quests for several of them - and even they reset daily as if they have never met me. I am assuming they have further dialogue as you talk to them, but I don't know how to even get to that point??

Anyone else have this issue? I would think it would be a fairly important thing to fix, if every NPC in the game is locked into saying the same intro dialogue to you every day, for the entire game. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Could you please make sure you are playing the latest version, 3.0.2.5? It seems that you have got an issue from the very early build.

Please, re-login to Steam account and verify the integrity via the properties of the game in Steam client.

I am in the newest version and I still have npc's repeat the intro conversation several times, even into the summer and fall of a new game. It is very annoying,

As the original poster here - after numerous other people have said they have the same issue - and we have followed the troubleshooting steps to no avail - are you going to fix this?

I have no idea what's going on, but your patch to add the new story has broken NPC dialogue, and since there are relationships involved, it's sorta a big deal that every NPC in the town says their intro "I don't know you" dialogue every single day - forever.

Please let us know that you are aware of this being a bug and are going to fix it????
