would you ever implement a sort of pet taming/pokemon feature, i think it would make it alot more fun to explore and collect them

Well, there are several games of that kind already - check out the achievements: 1) find all the insects (and add them to the museum); catch all kind of fish; eliminate all kinds of creatures. ALl these types of activities are there at the game already. Unfortunately, you can't pet a creature but still you could try to find it because it all depends on the season, the time of the day and some other facts like your own luck :)

not with controller, it doesn't really. well, you can access it, you can opt to deposit, even use ls to select the amount, but as soon as you hit "A" to confirm.. it switches to withdraw instead of deposit. in fact, you can flip between withdraw and deposit mode on that screen just by hitting A and X (and resetting amount each time). if you were in withdraw mode and hit A, you'll just reset the amount as it switches from withdraw mode to withdraw mode. have to use kb/m to confirm the amount to withdraw/deposit. apparently this was reported in july. someone mentioned something about july patch.. guess it didn't work.

you should probably also consider using left stick / dpad up/down to move bigger amounts (say, +/-10) in addition to relying on the accelerated increase by length of time each direction is held..

don't know yet if i'll get interest. as i just deposited the money... (wonder if interest is per day...)

Does only the host get access to the farms finances? I built a rental house and cannot see any of the finances and he(the host) gets all the money. Is there a way to change or fix this?

The host gets all the money from rental. As for the sales at the shops - you could get these money as a second player. Also, your host could simply drop you some money.

Only the newer added insects, specifically, do not appear for me. The rest turn up just fine. Have followed guides/ dev comments on exact locations, tried multiple times etc. Playing on default island. Would appreciate some assistance please!

After a lot of testing, I have found that the achievement 'dungeon crawler' is not working for me either. Are there plans for a patch for these 2 issues which some others seem to be having as well?

Please, try the update as of today. You should get the achievements now but please, make sure you have triggered it (visit a dungeon).

So after hours of research I finally gathered enough information and went back to the islands and found those bastards as follow :
Grasshopper - Silver Lake - Spring 1 pm - east fo bridge near small island OR south of the little lake alone on the left
Beetle - Wood Alley - Spring 8 am - right of the lake in middle
Dragonfly - Golden Swamp - 2 pm - Northwest of the Lake on the right
Snail - Land of Ghost - Spring 11 am - Left of the first wizard golem you encounter
Scorpion - Grey rock Island - Spring 8 am - Near two end tracks up north beside glowing chest inside cave

I recommend you cut trees & foliage and mine rocks near the place to see the bugs better, if it did not spwan, go back home and come back day after. Bring food, and coffee to stay longer on the island.

Hope this helps anybody having trouble finding them.

sorry for the quote even though you posted this months ago, but i can't seem to find where the dragonfly is (well the beetle and scorpion are too , but i wasn't there at the right time). this time, i entered golden swamp at 2pm and go to this area until it's 3pm, but i can't find it anywhere. is this the right place or did i misunderstand your explanation?

thank you so much for this! i seem to be already sitting at the right spot for the silver lake bug, maybe the time wasn't the correct one. is it possible for me to encounter the bug by waiting at the same spot the whole day? just want to make sure before i try it out later :)

EDIT: it seems to be possible, but one thing that matters is to play the game in the beach resort dlc version, not the default one. the insects won't spawn in the default game.

also, it's a different topic from the bugs, but i have 3 questions regarding 3 achievements:

1. is megapolis achievement broken? i already build all buildings but i haven't got the achievement yet. do i also have to build everything in the other tabs (the grasses, fences, dogs, cats (i already bought their home, but haven't bought the animals))? or do i need the adventureland dlc to unlock the achievement?

EDIT: i found the AchDebug.txt file in the save file directory and this is what listed as missing:

Buildings To Build: 129,130,51,148,247,144,202,122,207,152,166,205,197,142,206,165,123,153,204,146,143,145,196,200,187,203,201,199,198,264,265,260,149,263,262,171,172,266,261,169,173,170,141,237,238,188

i wish i can check what those numbers mean and see which one i'm missing myself, hahah.

EDIT2: it seems that i missed building number 17 (idk what it is). i just tried to build everything from the other tabs and it somehow unlocks when i was "building"... plants?

2. for the creator, what constitutes as crafting every item? is it the one that you build (like the buildings, grasses, fences, and stuffs)? or is it everything that any builders can make (like wine from wine making machine, seed from seed machine, and everything, including everything that you can make in campfire? if it is, does any item crafted through basic stove counts in the advanced one or do i have to make it again for the advanced stove?)?

EDIT: seems i got it despite not crafting all items (i'm sure i haven't crafted sushi and some other dishes) and after crafting an item that i already crafted (treasure map iirc) so feel free to ignore the question, but you might want to check on the early or possibly misconfigured achievement trigger

3. i just got entomologist achievement, but the AchDebug.txt doesn't list it as complete. will i get doomed to get the unlock all achievements achievement later on?

EDIT: it's marked as complete now. seems it's just a delay. i still wonder if it will affect the You Did It! achievement though.
