When can I get a bigger backpack?

I know I am bringing this up again but at what point in the game will I get an option to buy a bigger backpack or find one? Right off the bat I max out my bag space and the quest is specifically asking for Lettuce to be planted. I had to drop all the other seeds to pick up just the six I needed. Tools should not take up bag space.

CRAFT a key and open the chest on your farm next to your house

you can also craft a chest to store tools you arent currently using

I luckily found mine by treasure hunting. Craft treasure maps with your treasure map pieces, then find the X mark on your map, then dig.

Also, when you get your social level up to 5, the trader in town will have them to purchase. I believe in the winter, he has the 27, 35, & 45 ones. I finally got the 45. Costs 3600 coins but well worth it.
