Mutiplayer fix bridge

Just started playing the game with my friend and it tells us to fix the bridge to find the lighthouse, my friend fixed the bridge so the quest completed for us both, great, no, the bridge is fixed for my friend but not for me, so I am stuck with no way to fix the bridge or do anything apart from wander around the first island.

Is there a way to fix this?

I have the same issue in single player with that game mode, where you have to find the lighthouse - not the legacy story, where the bridge is repaired by someone, when you bring him the materials.
The game says, the diary is updated (there isn't any new diary entry) but the bridge is still broken and the materials are still in my inventory. So can't really play in this mode, when the bridge can't be repaired.

As I tried again (after exiting and reloading the save game), next day (in game) the bridge could be repaired properly. But there seems to be an issue that should be examined.
