Yall wanna get the achievement? les get a group together and tree together

This is more of an open question / discussion about Trading Cards. I have never done trading cards before. Might be neat. It might be a significant effort for me to add, I put it on my list but I keep deprioritizing it to do other things. How many trees out there are interested in trading cards? Are trading cards a big deal? Please feel free to express your opinions on them as it will help me prioritize this....

I found the game late in the game (pun intended) and I don't want to be leafed behind. I'd happily host a forest but I'm uncertain of the internet speed/cpu requirements to host 100 trees. Are there still 100 of us about that we could pull it off?

I'm still trying to get the 10k hour achievement; I just closed the game for the first time in days, and noticed that my play time in Steam went down: I was at around 7000 hours, and now it's closer to 6800 hours after closing. I watched it change right before my eyes. What would cause this?...

UPDATE: We managed to hit the 100 tree mark three times--once about an hour before the event and twice right after the event start time. There was an amazing response, and we accomplished the achievement quite easily for many, many trees. Our thanks to all who made it a success!
