Failed to start (missing executable)

It has been two years since I posted the following:

Failed to start game(unknown error)
The problem is this: I run Windows 7 and have played this game for over a year. Stream did an update to this game and now it doesn't work because my anti-virus software(Webroot) now declares that the exec for the game is malware. Until some one comes up with a fix for this the game is useless to me.

Sream has done nothing to fix this problem. I am now using Windows 10 but the problem is still there.

Found this in another post. Maybe it will help you.

"the issue is that the executable is recognized as malware by antivirus. I had the same issue.
To go around it: deactivate antivirus, downlaod, go to the executable location and scan it with antivirus, when warning message pop up you can decide to Allow the executable.
My AV is webroot, it might be different depending on your AV but it should be similar

Then it will start... now, the issue I have on Win 10 is that the game crashes after a few minutes.
I have yet to debug it but at least it should get you started. I know it's an old message but just in case I let you know"

But it seems the game doesn't work on Windows 10.

Thanks that has gotten me by the first problem but I now have the same problem as you do. I will do so research on it and see if I can come up with answer. I will let you know if I do.
