Familiar builds are unfun
I got my first win with a familiar build. It was easier than other builds but the optimal strategy seemed to be just spamming every single ability as fast as possible for maximum familiar uptime. Since there's no real feedback mechanism for knowing when a skill is ready (without taking eyes off where they need to be) this is the best, and really the only way to do it.

It was incredibly tiring, to the point I will probably avoid using familiars at all in the future. In fact, I'm feeling so traumatized I might even avoid picking "attack speed" or "skill cooldown" again on ANY build.

Does anybody else feel that familiars are implemented poorly?

Hey thank you for your feedback!
I will give thought to ways I can improve the fun on the summons and familiars.
Just as a quick buff to it, I did a small change recently which adds damage to your familiars when you upgrade your damage bonus stat playing with the Trainer class.
