polar bears?

so i put down the unique tile for the ice fishing quest and killed the polar bear. got the head and a pelt plus unlocked the recipe for the headdress. the problem is that i need one more pelt and i haven't seen a single other polar bear other than the guaranteed spawn. do i need to keep spawning lake fishing and lake rock tiles or something?

U can put down more ice lake tile for random spawn another bear. Animals too spawn after quit and reload game.

I made a 5x5 frozen area with all the frozen tile types, checking periodically for polar bears.

They NEVER respawned on the unique story tile. They ONLY respawned on tiles with the same layout as the unique tile, with the tent and the big rock in the middle.

I have over 6 ice lake tiles and 2x polar bears be spawned sometimes.

The Bears respawn after every new loggin, but they only give me animal fat and meat, I didn´t got a second pelt.

Same for me, I killed three more polar bears and got no pelts. It hasn't respawned in ages now.

A real trial of patience. Keep placing them in-game week after in-game week and you'll start getting heads too and eventually the pelt. I tend to place these new tiles each time I log into the game. A frustrating,unnecessarily unrewarding mechanic on the devs part, IMHO.
