I do not understand in any way where to get resin to craft warm boots?

yea , for the tin axe u need sawmill , but u cant learn sawmill yet , and birch tree tile u need wooder beam which i assume get from sawmill.

there is only 3 birch tree on the camp but its not 100% to get any , and i have no idea how long it take to search again .

so im stack at the moment

Upgrade your workbench to T4 to get the sawmill. But to get the tin axe you only need T3. Make a furnace and anvil, then you can smelt the tin ore and make the tin axe and tin pick. With those, you can mine iron and cut birch. Cutting birch will get the resin you need to make the armor. There is a birch forest tile you will need to research also.

where do i get the furnace and anvil , my only quest is the boots and i speak with everyone ,
i did all fisherman quest , i did the hunter quest , i finish the 2 camp guys quest , i speak with the trade post guy , nothing.

when you return to Frank and tell him you delivered his package, he gives you the sawmill part

Hello, I'm also stuck at the same stage as you, I only have the quest for the boots and I'm stuck!

Furnace is lvl3 workbench. You need some rocks. Anvil is tin ingots, which you get from furnace

To get the T3 workbench, go to your workbench and open it up. you should see the T1 building stuff on the left. On the right, it will tell you what you need to upgrade to T2. Then do it again to make T3. Once you have that, on the left, you can select which tier of building stuff you want to do. go to Workbench Tier 3 and make a furnace and anvil.

upgrade your tools. Hand-crafted --> pickaxe (from Primitive Pickaxe)

I can't upload the workbench to level 3. I don't have the material they ask for and I don't know where to get it. I'm stuck. I can't get resin for the boots for the heat

Upgrade your axe with tin, then put down a birch forest tile. Go chop down birch for the resin

For anyone else who might be having trouble with this, level up your shelter to level 2 and it unlocks the enhanced axe and enhanced pickaxe recipes in the hand crafted recipe section. I was stuck in the exact same place till I figured this out.
