While we're here, a wider range of end-game furnishings would be good too. Many calling for stairs up to a 1st floor, but I'd add fireplace (as Shane's cabin), stove (as the pueblo village, etc), maybe a range and kitchen counters (as in mayor's mansion), so Aiyana can cook+warm herself indoors instead of being dependant on the starter campfire.
I like the ideas, and I would not mind being able to build a fireplace (but not as fancy as the one in the Mayor's house) or a coal or woodburning stove, a couch to match the fancy chair and bronze mirror, a tall dresser, woven rugs to brighten up the floors, new clothing items (either purely cosmetic or with combat stat buffs), and so on and so on.
I am more interested in simple basic things right now- the devs gave us an outside corner roof piece for plank and stone buildings. An inside corner makes sense. A flat roof like the log buildings have would also make sense. The rest can all be left to modders or DLC down the line, if the game sells well enough to pay the devs to make them and there is enough demand for them.
The peaked roof pieces stuck in inside corners just look janky on my house right now. That's my main ask- make my roof look pretty. :P
