What am I missing? Anvil recipes...

All I need to unlock everything is the last gun, and I know I need silver for that. I haven't been lucky enough to find any in the canyons yet, and the mines haven't delivered any, but with gold unlocked I am hopeful that it will happen Soon™ (rebuilding my map to make my mines longer right now).

I am guessing that 2 are a silver ring and a silver ring with a gem, and another is a gold ring with a gem. But I have no idea what I am missing between the bronze tools and the iron ring.

Silver axe/pick, silver ring/gem ring, gold gem ring.

There are no gold ore nodes. Edit: well, at least I didn't see any..., heh
There are a few silver ore nodes but not until
you get the very last story world tile, which is a dungeon entrance basically.

Ah, okay. So I might as well get on with finishing the story to get the silver unlocked and get those last item recipes unlocked.
