unfortunately appears so, which is a pity, the game is actually quite fun overall, sure it needs some tweaks to various aspects and a whole heap of bug fixes (the worse one in PvE server is no horses, theres no afk timer for horses so every horse spawn has a saddle someone previously tamed and this seems to prevent new wild horses spawning and playing the game without a horse to get about involved a ridiculous amount of stamina panting animations and much patience)

The combat system is a little awkward in places but frankly i've played allot worse, the lack of lightness or movement techniques (i cant confirm at end ofc im only Stage 3 @ lvl 23 (nie 24) atm) coupled with the lack of horses doesnt help the exp certainly.

It's clearly heaping's of attention when into the starting territory but the rest have significantly less PoI and more empty space, the main quest in many cases is incapable of accepting an existing item or building and requires you to repeat many things, like for instance I had to plonk a 2nd boundary stone and upgrade it when it came to the intermediate boundary upgrade quest as it refused to recognize my existing ones, tbh its a traditional noob mp developer bug that I have encountered in early release of many other games.

Whilst there is a system to prevent plonking properties in critical areas unfortunately the developer never got around to making much use of it, making the majority of roads fair game, not much of an issue now its empty but wouldnt do well if ever busy.

Many of the hints in the codex are insufficient to guess the location of the npc involved, often you'll do better just visiting all the POI and exploring every inch in those cases, some of the bosses in the starter zone are to difficult for such a zone, fortunately I didnt fully explore it till later so I could handle it but def would have been frustrating if i found such bosses in starting zone when I was stage 1 and living there.

Moving house is awkward doubly so without horse but even if I could have horse the 12 slots starter saddles would have necessitated many trips unfortunately without horses I had to slog about 10 times heavily overloaded across several zones to reach my new location, im not looking forward to my next move lol, but i should be fine until stage 5 at least where I am, which will take a while.

The food and drink meters are insufficient, even with unlocks, having said that the cultivation mode vastly, even hugely reducing the meter's tick rates is appreciated, it would prob been better if food and drink ticks continue to lower as ones cultivation level increases it would better match the cultivation feel.

The well you can plonk on ur property does let you get a drink, but it does not allow you to refill your canteen alas, which caused issues for me in early game until i discovered berry juice, also every time you use well you get stuck to it and have to use a dash skill or two to escape lol.

It's a pity you cant place a poof on your own territory, even if I had grind allot of resources to make a cultivation array to plonk one I'd have been happy to do so, and the lack of map signs for where poofs are located makes finding spots awkward in unfamiliar locations, also several poofs are blocked by bosses so I have to make quite the trip if I want the triple cultivation rate.

It's a shame the game had good potential but the dev should have launched it on steam in early access, and kept up with updates more in early days, alas, nonethless I will prob continue playing until char is maxd which will take some time and get my moneys worth (i only paid 10 euros tho xD), alas also the dlc is not available for sale so no bamboo houses and swords for me :(

oh fyi the farming system can indeed allow you to produce fair quantities of needed items alas, the chance of a grown item producing a seed is absymally low, out of 8 plants I got 1 seed back, so it doesnt allow you to avoid more then 1 or 2 trips out depending on how much you stockpile.

I just comeback here because Myth of Empire gonna come back to steam. That make me miss this game sooooo much.
