Not sure about other Steam Deck users but I had my frames fluctuating quite significantly. Sometimes it was quite smooth at or above 30 fps but on the big rock wall at the end of the gym I dropped down to 20 fps. I suspect it's maybe related to the rope physics on your robot companion?

I guess for a game like this the fps doesn't matter too much. I was hoping for 40 fps, that's usually where I play my Steam deck games as it's a nice balance between battery life and performance.

This one I may end up playing on desktop instead, although it would make for an awesome Steam Deck game

I played the demo on my steamdeck and I found it worked perfectly fine and I didn't notice the low frames. The lowest I got was 20 FPS in some sections. I'm hoping they'll manage to squeeze some optimisations in to make it run better so it doesn't go below 25 FPS which I think is acceptable for a game like this (at least imo) however with the snowy sections later on I think it might not be possible. Either way I think I'll still give it a go because I really enjoyed it

Thanks for playing y'all! We will be optimizing the game for Steam Deck, but the demo has not yet been optimized. When the full game releases, you will be getting much smoother frames!

Thanks, really appreciate it! I tried it out on the deck today and while the frames were going between 20-30 I still really enjoyed it. The game looks amazing even on low graphics settings.

I'd be more than happy with a stable 30 on the deck, anything over that would be a bonus.

Can't wait for the full release, looking forward to it! :)

It lasted about an hour and a bit but I have the LCD model. So if you're lucky enough to have a oled model it'll probably last longer.
