DOwnloading assets
I noted there are more assets that can be downloaded and uploaded. Is there a way to mass download all of the assets at once or start a major download I can do over night? Also can you point me to where the over all rules are for uploading assets as Depending on what they are, I have a few I would gladly give to all to use.

It is highly recommended that you do not download any assets you don't immediately need. This can greatly slow down DA's performance. You can upload almost anything as long as it's associated license says it's okay to do that. We've got several Blender users that have given us thousands of assets they've created to use as we wish. DA has a very generous license agreement that says you can sell your DA created maps as long as you make less than $100,000. If you make any more than that, you'll need a commercial license. And you can't use any of the assets from the workshop as those are licensed separately from the DA license. Workshop assets are find for your own maps for your own purposes, but as soon as you attempt to sell, all assets MUST come from DA.

Any map that you attempt to download that uses workshop assets will prompt you first. So you don't need to worry that a map might need something you don't have. The prompt DA gives you will also give the option to include or exclude any asset in the list. Some assets are huge. The result of not downloading an asset the map builder included is a blank spot on your map. Maybe it's a building or a vehicle... It just won't be there.

There is no current method to mass download all. Steam does offer collections which allows users to place hundreds of assets into a group for mass download but they must be put into a collection first. You can browse pre made collections through DA by opening the Steam Workshop tab then select browse assets and lastly click browse collections.

Bit of advice assets on the workshop aren't necessarily optimized and should be treated like a mod on a game. Many of the assets work great but some perform poorly. With a massive collection of assets you're bound to run into poor performance. We recommend only downloading assets as you need them.
