However, we feel as do many in our community, that creating maps in 3D provides a richer experience, even in a top-down view. When exporting, our maps include depth from a 3D perspective, giving walls and objects more realistic shadows and detail. Additionally, we offer tools such as cinematic and first-person camera modes that allow you to capture different views and angles of your maps to give visual handouts to enhance the immersion. While we focus on 2D exports, the 3D creation process offers added visual details that wouldn't be possible with 2D-only mapmakers.
