there should be no backgrounds
further clarification - there needs to be an option where when there is no actual ground in place it makes it invisible to make it easier to place multiple maps together

Use the greenscreen biome for now. Then kill off the greenscreen and you'll be left with just your buildings. You'll have to use an image editor to get rid of it, but it's quick. Or you can use: https://www.remove.bg/upload

We use Upvoty for suggestions and feature requests: https://dungeonalchemist.upvoty.com/ Just search for your idea and if it's already there, vote for it. If it's not there, create a new post and your suggestion will auto-populate the suggestions channel on our Discord.

No apologies necessary. Your post might help someone else, so you don't need to delete.

Doesn’t matter, they don’t listen, the mods on discord will agree with you while another bans you.

Then you have forum posts here asking and criticizing a dev and they get deleted I have zero faith in the devs
This is incorrect. If you were banned it's probably because you broke a rule in the Discord. We don't ban people because of a difference of opinion and we don't ban people because of suggestions. Upvoty is the way we take suggestions for future development. Multi-level buildings (which will be in the next update) are a direct result of people voting for this feature. Multi-Level buildings were never a part of the original design, but the devs liked this idea and have implemented it for release in Fun with Objects which we're hoping will be out in Q2 2025.

Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts. We always appreciate feedback, even when it’s critical. I’d like to address a few points to give some clarity.

I understand that not every feature you’re looking for is available yet. That’s one of the challenges of early access, but we have a roadmap in place to guide the development of the software. While we might not release every feature precisely upon request, we have a clear vision for how it will evolve. Feedback is a big part of that process, but it’s important to follow a plan that ensures progress.

Regarding your Discord experience, we don’t ban users without reason — it’s typically based on actions that violate our community guidelines. Our volunteer moderators and development staff work hard to maintain a positive space, and we do our best to handle situations fairly. If you feel your interactions were mishandled, feel free to reach out to me directly here on Steam. However, when aggressive behavior or disrespectful communication occurs, it becomes difficult to maintain a productive environment for everyone.

We value criticism when shared respectfully, and we want everyone to engage in a way that fosters constructive dialogue. We’re committed to making Dungeon Alchemist the best it can be, and your input can be part of that if shared thoughtfully.
