Creating Character tokens

So I went to Hero Forge and i love it. But i wondered if there was any software out there that I could buy as a one off payment, not subscription that i could create my own character, monsters etc without going to Hero Forge.

For having it as easy as Hero Forge: No. There are similar sites with similar pricing. But if you want an One-Time-Payment, you will have professional software like Character Creator[www.reallusion.com], and with that you will need some experience with 3D digital art.
If you are interested to create 3D digital art, you may start with Blender[www.blender.org] as it is a free software (which is also used professional - some of the DA assets are made with it ;) ).

You could also try Playground AI, which is free. You would simply describe what you want and experiment with the different filters until you get what you want. Then you can use an image editor like paint.NET or Krita to easily put a border around your creation to make your token.
