PS 5 controller not working in this game.

At least it's not working for me. BMZ2 had this issue too for me. The first game worked fine though.

I had this issue with my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller at first, but I closed the game, unplugged, plugged back in and then restarted. Everything worked fine after that point.

Do that first, and maybe it'll fix itself? For both games, potentially.

I can't get the Xbox 360 controller to work with this game. It works for other games. I think it's just the issue with this game.

I had to go into the controller settings option on the main menu and set the inputs before it would read my controller. Have you tried that?

Just tried it but it didn't work. I guess this game is setup to only work Xbox controllers

Dual sense isn't working for me, couldn't manually configure it either. Not an issue in anything else I've tried.

... which is weird as I literally just said my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller was working after starting up the game once.

Yeah, my PS4 controller doesn't work with DS4Windows or without. Doesn't detect any input, works on every other game I play.

Damn. Wish I bought a Pro controller instead of a PS5 Controller then.

I had this problem with my 360 controller, but solved it like this:
- In Steam Library, right-click on the game
- Select Properties
- Go to the Controller section
- Change the drop-down to Disable Steam Input
