A couple of Bugs
Yesterday found a bug, I was killed in the first stage and the game crashed, literally kicked me off the game. Today after finishing playing the second stage, I exit the game and the screen went all black, needed to log out my windows session and then log in again to be able to use my laptop.

If you were playing full screen, go windowed instead. If you still want full screen, use something like Borderless Window Helper.

I had the black screen bug too, though I just used Task Manager to kill the game (didn’t work) and Steam (did work).

My game won't close without me ending Steam. I'm on Windows 8.1, 4k resolution. I have to reenable full screen every time I open the game. Are they ok? I had "zero" issues with Blaster Master 1 and 2.

Thanks for the tips. I'm using Windows 10 with the 21H1 version installed. I tried to run the task manager but couldn't see anything, since the black screen didn't let me, so I had to end the Windows session by logging off. I also didn't find any issues with previous games, this is the first time, hope they fix it.

i had teh same bug with my game too, had to search the task manager for the game.exe buried down the list and end it.
Fortunately i had a second monitor to even be able to view it.

The sad alternative would be to play on Windowed but you can adjust in the game's menu the "Resolution" to X4 or X5 (though i think X5 does nothing but X6 does something) to make it as filling as possible without the need to move the window around

Wished though that Inti would solve this already...
