Micromanagement or Automation?
Just wondering if the game is more about Micromanagement or Automation of the workers. I really having to click on individual minions and check their stats, i prefer to just assign tasks and sit back and watch everything work. How the game works after you unlock more workers and stuff? Do they need constant attention?

To be honest, there is a fair share of manual control in this game.
For instance, your smiths go eating or sleeping automatically (if they are not being under player’s control at the moment), but they don’t go back to work after that. Moreover, to reach the highest effectiveness of production it’s better to manually control your smiths, switch their equipment from time to time and manage their jobs, as for example characters with “pacifist” trait will refuse to make weapons for soldiers and knights.

I would say the whole point is about micromanagement. Especially at the beginning. Later you will have some kind of automation as one of your workers will only mine. 2 will work with anvil and furnace 2 with wood. And if you have a lot of money you can give up to 3 instruments to each worker making them fairly good in 3 areas and thus not bothering too much who is doing what.

I do wish there was at least an option to tell employees to return to their last work station (if not occupied) when they're done with food/sleep auto fulfillment. If remembering last station is a challenge, maybe a "seek this work station" setting on them, so if they're not eating or sleeping and there is an open work station of the selected type, they'll go do it.
