Wood carving question

Since this isn't a skill on it's own, is anything applied as bonus, allowing my worker going faster? Naturally, since there are no requirements, this is very profitable, but since it takes forever, one cannot take many others at once.

I am dreading day 60, because I just know it's going to be the part of the fair, and if everybody comes with the requiest to carve into wood, I swear, heads will roll.

And the tools provide no bonuses, I'm just assuming that having the highest quality tool will allow me to accept all orders from any customers, similar to how you have to learn certain techniques from books.

unfortunately the carving tool still doesnt work but both the saw and the wood working tool give bonuses.

What, those tools should count towards the wood carving? That wouldn't make sense. General wood working applies to all those workbenches, but each has it's own separate tools.

Or are you just telling me that other tools work in general?
