DMP: Possible bug with Rotten Skeleton (light DLC spoilers)

So, I managed to get the crystal phylactery with the bud's soul *and* sell it to Maria before meeting him in his cave. This caused him to become pissed and vow to never speak to me again (what was he on about, I thought – I've never laid my eyes on his skeletal cheeks before).

I went to bed in his cave. Woke up, and he's still there and available. We speak and he gives me the 'recover phylactery' quest as if nothing between us had happened. Is this intended or is this a bug?

Thanks! Just to contribute some more, the bud did indeed disappear on me the moment I picked up my first (of four) key items.

Yup, we've found the issue.
Will be fixed in the patch planned for April.
