Melee build is so fun

Just started a melee-only run after beating the game once, and I think once you have a hand of how every enemy acts and reacts, and have the right perks/artifacts, it's far more powerful than any gun build.

Especially once you consider the Left Hand Path, which is just godly once you build specifically for it: 1675 damage with heavy attack: https://i.imgur.com/nNom9Je.png

That's with 100/634 hp, (achieved with Alvarro's Rib, Coin Necklace, and Mystical Scalp, Alive and Dangerous 3/3, and Rose Bourbon) - Berserker 2/2, Fast Hands 2/3, Adrenaline Rush 1/3 (Could have had even more damage) and also using a Whetstone, and Gold Oil.

With that, you can one-shot the Chapter 2 boss without even using the fires, and even without a stealth attack.

Yeah melee builds are peak - just wait until you get the DUSK scythes in Dead Man's Promise ;)

Ahahaha, I just finished my melee run, and killed the final boss in 2 hits xD
Got my axe damage up to 2396 on a heavy attack lol
I guess time to start the DLC now

What skills and items you use?

Basically same loadout as my first post, but all the relevant melee damage/health perks maxed out, and even lower current health - I think I went into the fight with only about 40 or 50 health, to maximize the berserker damage bonus.

this is all good but not acceptable to dead mans promise boss .... because he flying.... weapons... and weapons again....

yeah that build was for the main game - the DLC doesn't have that axe.
The DLC has lots of other fun build combinations though
