In which order did you do this quest?

This issue is on our radar to fix with the nearest update possible. Even with the Journal not updating correctly, if you obtained all necessary items you should be able to move on and progress the story!

If memory serves:
1. Buried bones
2. Spoke to hunter & wife couple
3. Spoke to skin ghost
4. Grabbed skin in cave near him
5. Turned in

Both the buried bones and skin ghost quests continued to show on the map.

I managed to complete the DLC without issue - but I don't know if I missed out on rewards as a result.

Gotcha, we're on it.
You will not miss any reward as the issue involves only journal not updating properly (and along with that the markers on the map).

At the beginning of the game I took the quest to bury the skeleton and did not receive a marker. This problem is with many quests
