So I'm playing on an RTX 3090 + i9 9900k getting below 60 fps upon loading my save. I'm not even gonna bother reading the word wall above me. The fact is this game's optimization at the moment is ♥♥♥♥. No excuses.

I have this exact issue, extremely low frame rate after loading a game. Sleeping in a bed fixes it temporarily until it comes back.

I've got a GTX 960 and an AMD FX8150 on a 10 year old system. The demo ran absolutely fine for me. Going to try the full game later this week to see if anything changed massively, but I'm pretty confident it will run about the same.

yeah, my fps were fine first time i played, but they've plummeted tonight for reasons i can't figure out. same areas that were steady at 99fps last night are chugging along at 50~ now.

have a geforce 3070 & a ryzen 3900x so i don't think it's hardware-related

Haha, keep deluding yourself, laptops are not for gaming especially at such a low end and for a game that has an indie developers whos biggest problem is adding content and releasing the full game, not optimising the game for niche low end specs. I know its hards but it is what it is.

When I played for the first time, everything was normal, but the second time, I was getting 30fps or even less. But this is an early access game, things like that can happen.

Happened to me, sleeping in game fixed the issue. It was fine the first time but when I launched the game again, the low fps bug occured.

Lol... i7 7700k, gtx 1070 8gb 16gb ram, every drivers updated, runs 110-140fps. For me optimalization is perfect Oo.... 40minutes of gameplay and didnt had any single little fps drop

Edit: After second turn on game, fps drops to 60-80 in open area, exit to menu and load save dosent help, same change resolution or window mode BUT after I die and back to life fps back to normal (120+ in same open area). So..... somewhere is the issue:x

Second edit: I'll will try play the game on ssd later:>

Final result -> patch needed asap:(

We're aware of the issue and working on fixing it ASAP. In the meantime, a working temporary fix is to rest in a safe zone. I guess its a good way to practice some more sneaking & shooting the Birdman and other enemies. ;)

Gaming laptops are deteriorating their performance waaaaay quicker due to cooling issues. Your card is from 2016, so 6 years old card is unlikely to be achieving magical results on recent games.
