Crimson Brooch ruined my experience

Just to be clear, the game is great, I'm here to encourage other players not to rely on Crimson Brooch money, instead focus on other artifacts while using Magpie's Blessing if you really want money

Others say it's a trap. I ended up selling it cheap, as i stumbled into doing something stupid too often.

Edit: And get the playing card. Maybe the 3$ shot coin, though that does take a slot, but certainly all the gold skills.

the Crimson Brooch is completely risk free, especially if you use the Watch at the same time, because then you can just move the Crimson Brooch from your artefacts slot to your inventory (while you arent at risk of dying because the Watch makes it so that time pauses while your inventory is open). You dont lose the value in the Crimson Brooch when dying so long as its not in your artefact slot at the time of dying

Alternatively: the Crimson Brooch sells for (almost) the same value regardless of "bonuses to bartering," so it's a good source of income if you haven't invested skill points and/or aren't using artifacts which give "bonus to bartering"
