Black Raven Skull?

So I'm most of the way through ch2 I think, and a while back I found a Black Raven Skull.
"A black raven skull. Looks very familiar, yet something feels odd.
When you crush the skull, visualizing a chosen place, you can teleport yourself there. Or so you hope.

By now I'm wondering if this is a particularly rare item, if there is some specific use that lets you bypass something, and/or if I'm just not as thorough of a searcher as I thought?

Sorry to hear that, if it's not on top inside that stump then it's probably in a different place then since as others commented previously the location of some specific items are different between each save file

But at least now we know some of the places it can appear at

Yeah, I know how frustrating it is, but as time goes people will keep discovering spots where the black skulls can appear and you will eventually find one.

After combing through nearly every location, I finally found a spawn location in a stump north of the safe zone. (not sure it was worth the time, but it was something) Not sure how many spawn, but it seems like the one in the fort might be a guarantee spawn (always doctor's house?). I also wonder if perks and artifacts that influence gold spawning may negatively affect your likelihood of finding these black raven skulls.

Thanks to everyone helping us locate these damn items. haha Yeah, feels like the only guarantee spawn is the only one that doesn't take you to the lighthouse so far.

Yeah that's the ones that's guaranteed to be there, but there's a second one that's randomized

I checked all the places mentioned here, but I couldn't find it.
I checked all the stumps, climbed the tale and the Farm and the stump near the Fort.
But he never found another skull.

I'm on the same boat. I have two save files and in one of them I found the skull near the farm, but in my main save file I haven't found the skull anywhere so far, only the one in the fort. haha

Wasted time and died on purpose several times. Only after 2 curses and a restart did I spawn a second skull in a stump north of the base. I have no idea how it worked or if there is any connection in these actions, but I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happy.

Oh no, sorry, translation error.
I meant that I restarted the whole game.
That is, exit the program and run it again.
