Zero Starts for non-programmable key input
There's just no excuse not to have programmable keys. And the pre-set inputs for keyboard are just flat out terrible. Seriously, whose hand position makes the use of those keys remotely viable. The pre-set keys seems are so bad it seems an intentional insult to keybaord users.

Zero stars and no recommendations until such a basic, and fundamental aspect of the player experience is resolved.

This is 2025. Not having programmable key inputs is like not having volume adjustment.

Hi VDX_360,

No insult intended - it's just been a long and challenging road to do everything that's needed. On the plus side, we do have customizable keyboard inputs in place in our development version and plan to release it with our next big update!

I totally agree with you that it should be a given - it's been on my list for a very long time and I've been frustrated about not having the time I needed to focus on that (among other things).

So sorry for your frustration. If you ever want to chat about your feedback or concerns we tend to be the most available on discord: https://drtz.io/Discord

I actually try to keep up with the Steam community boards, but I've been having an issue where Steam keeps disconnecting and not giving me the latest updates :(

Anyway, I hope this helps clarify for you our plan regarding key mapping. The only thing holding it back now is time as we finish up a few more things before we go into testing and the launch. I'm hoping to have a beta build available to Early Access players in March while we go through testing all the new updates. We'll try to make the key re-mapping functionality the best we can!

Thanks for the message!
