Hi there!
We’re happy to hear that you’re having a good time with the game! 😊
The AI can be very challenging, especially for new players. We understand that it’s not easy to learn the rules while playing against a strong adversary. Originally, new players had to face the Devil immediately… brutal, I know! We added the Sheriff (an easier opponent) after receiving a lot of feedback that the learning curve was too harsh.
On average, new players manage to defeat the Sheriff on their second or third try. Once players learn the different chip combos and utilize the power cards they win correctly, the Sheriff will make some mistakes that should cost him the game. Additionally, against this opponent only, the saw is rigged to help the player. The chances of the saw cutting are higher for the Sheriff than for the player. That being said, we will look into the Sheriff’s gameplay a little more and see if there are ways to make him more forgiving.
The Devil, on the other hand, is very smart, and players must pay close attention to the game. He will occasionally make a mistake or not use a chip correctly, but this happens sporadically and rarely. We have seen comments from players saying that the saw favors the Devil, but this is not true. The odds of the saw cutting are the same for both the player and the Devil.
Here are a few tips that can help you out:
• Always look at your opponent’s chips to predict their next possible move.
• Try to win the power card by eliminating the second hand of the Skeleton. This will give you a significant advantage!
• Try to combine multiple chips together in the same turn to create strong combos.
It’s all about finding a good balance between having an easy opponent for new players to learn and enjoy the game while also providing a good amount of challenge for more advanced players. For experienced players, the Devil’s flaws can be exploited. Give it another go, and I’m sure you’ll find ways to defeat both the Sheriff and the Devil! 😊
To answer your question about stitching extra fingers, you can only stitch lost fingers with the Stitch Finger power card. Make sure to win the card when possible, as it’s a very strong ability! If you’re asking whether it’s possible to stitch an extra finger to have six fingers on a hand, no, that’s not possible.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! We got more content coming soon!
