Stuck in Rat cellar

After clearing out the rat cellar, I saved the game and started it later.
Once I loaded my game again, the key to enter/leave the rat cellar was missing, meaning I got stuck there.
I'm on a mac if it makes any difference

there is a hidden passage that leads to a cave that leads to an underground miner house, you can get out that way

once you enter from the tavern you go left, there is a split left to more rats, up to a long corridor, at the end is a room with a stone golem you enter the room from bottom left, the path out is bottom centre, and the golem should be in the top of the room, so you can easily bypass him
