My very own talisman softlock

So I have been doing my very own talisman, I drew the sitting person and now I need to check back with the children.

Well I was playing hide and seek with the boy, but night came and he is back in place, telling me too bad that I found him (he is just where he started, I didnt actually find him). The druidess considers the quest complete. But when I try to ask the girl about the painted talisman, she says the boy is still hiding. But hes not, hes right there. Telling me each time that he will hide better next time.

So I think not actually finding him got me in this softlock state. I am really regretting playing on ironman right now, as I have no savegame to go back to.

EDIT: Okay, you can tell the druidess to hide and seek again. Completing it right solves the bug
