Is it everything I can do in Act I?
This is my first playthrough so I wanna make sure I'm not missing something.
Wanna make a save right before choosing faction so I could replay for another faction after without need to redo all the stuff again.
What I did:
- killed like all the hostile creatures I could find (~5 bears, ~3 leshens, worms, harpies, skeletons etc.);
- got armor of the Bygones;
- got 13 different helmets;
- got free fast travel via merchants (including ones I saved from the mine);
- got 6 mandragoras;
- found 4 treasures;
- completed 9 World quests (saved prisoners from the mine, made "my own talisman", got Nexus Helmet & legendary gear from the Ruin Raiders questline...);
- completed 6 Woodcutters quests;
- completed 7 Pit quests;
- completed 14 Remnants quests (both squads ready to accept me);
- completed 17 Nemeton quests (fighters ready to accept me);
- completed 5 Refugee quests;
- completed 3 Tavern quests;
- got 24 achievements (including Animal whisperer, Mikesch the devourer, Waste not want not).

What I haven't got:
- act2+ story-related (I think) achievements;
- Dreams of another world questline (got 2 fossils, but Lorthiz didn't give me any more clue);
- Prosperity questline (got to the point where Gawan bought Sheep);
- 5 talents: last one in sword, slingshot and axe tree; 2 in spear tree (+1 lvl of prospecting, cuz Mottek quest is missable);
- Raven Mask, Gladiators' Helmet, Remnants Heavy Helmet, Nemeton Light Helmet (according to some helm list I found);
- opening primeval forest southern gates;
- apparently, I also missed "Work, Work" quest somehow.

Is there anithing else I could do before joining a faction?

Congrats! Yes just make your save now and play through as both factions one after the other.

You won't be able to do any of the things on your second list until you do so, although I'm curious as to how you activated the 7th shrine to power up the signet ring, as I thought that rubble only got cleared away during act 4.
Thanks. To get to the western shrine you just need to go slightly north-west from the forest primeval circle of mushrooms, and there is a passage behind a tree. Then go north directly to the shrine. There is a purple flame, so you need to get your spark first.

What do you mean by 'cuz Mottek quest is missable'? You can always get to prospect 5.

'Work, Work' is a ch2+ quest so you didn't miss it.

@Zuvio
How? I red in some other discussion that you get peospecting by Mottek, Trusty, Agnessa, Finley and the silver mine guy after killing the stone beast. I didn't get the quest to follow Mottek to the pit where he supposed to give me one level of prospecting, cuz I got there on my own and he doesn't speak to me anymore...

Oh serious, I never went there without him. Now I get your point. Should be a bug really.

Yeah, happened to me in my first run, I was stuck at Prospecting 4 because I went to the mine without Mottek.

Which is weird because you can find Silver Nose at Oglaf's Inn and she was supposedly the best hewer in the Pit, so you'd think she could teach you something, but nope.

You can only follow Mottek if you speak to Jola at the entrance of the remnants camp. She will ask Mottek to escort you, and then after the mission you can learn prospecting from him if he "likes you enough".
This probably not a bug more like a design choice since prospecting 4/5 ain't have that much difference and there's a "reason" behind him teaching you.
Apparently if you skip chapter II you get locked out of "Work, Work" and "Not my Beer" quests. Also "Last one standing" achievement.

Just finish the game. Yes, you are correct, those 3 are missable.

Be mindful that Gawan achievement can be also missed in Chapter 3. Make sure to meet him outside Nementon and give him 1000 gold

Oh small thing, if you have prospect 4 and if you did manage to collect that skill, the last prospect is a quest in the middle of the map where you have to help some guy defend against some raptors, then ask you for 20 woods and then going in to mine. Inside there is an NPC that didnt want to go further in the mine because of noises but I believe he gives you 1+ prospect

He gives the +1 prospect after you deal with what is making the noise. IFYKYK. Did that at way too early a level personally, didn't even make it to the remnant camp or the pits, so it was the first one I got.
