[SPOILERS] Endings discussion
I’ve completed the game and seen both endings. In one, the freed Divinities disperse the mist and bring destruction; in the other, they just disperse the mist. There’s not much difference between them, but that’s not the point. I still couldn’t piece together the entire story, even though I fully completed Drivanus' storyline, read every note I could find, and finished all the quests I came across.

Where did our hero come from at the very beginning? Was it some other world?

what’s the connection between the worlds? Why is Drova considered a paradise in that other world?

How did our druids end up with the crystal?

What’s the deal with the destroyed village where the hero wakes up at the beginning? Why was it destroyed? It wasn’t mentioned at all throughout the game.

At some point (I think in the mines), there were mentions that people in Drowa had lost their memories and couldn’t recall their past. That was intriguing, but this plot point didn’t go anywhere.

Why did the Bygones become zombies? Toward the end, Molvina said they wanted to become immortal, but in the ruins, there was plenty of information about their research, and nothing about them finding a path to immortality.

And especially, why did Drivanus become a zombie? He seemed to be following his own path and conducting his own research. He was good, why did he shared the fate of other Bygones

If Drivanus wanted someone worthy to continue his research, why did he hide his keys so cleverly? Since when is "worthiness" determined by someone’s ability to rob tombs?

And finally... What actually happened here? Did I understand correctly that the Ancients imprisoned the Divinities to draw power from them, but along with the Divibities, the life force also left the world, and the black fog gradually began consuming everything until only the small area where the game takes place remained? In the end, the Ancients locked themselves in the Tower, where they slowly (why?) turned into the undead.

What protects this area? Looks like the power of the Red Tower? But how is the Boar’s power connected?

"There’s not much difference between them"

In the ending where you just set them free without communicating with them, or try to subdue them, they push back the deathfog but in the progress, they scorch the entire world.

In the ending where you communicatie with them and become friends, they push back deathfog and leave everything lush and green. That's a massive difference!
From what I gathered for solutions to your first 3 questions,. The 2 druids from the beginning, I believe, were bygones. They were "world jumping" in order to find a conduit for their power source to harnass the divinity power. The stone being the element needed, I suppose.

The MC, I believe, is just a young man from the world where they got the stone. Apparantly the MC's world is a sort of Warhammer 40K type Death World, where monsters are an everyday occorunce, considering the MC grabs a branch and starts swinging on an elder god type being. (Talk about balls of pure brass).

The only information about the prologue is presented during the prologue, so not a lot to go on. The starting village could have been the MC's village that got swept up in the time jump. Other than that, I am unsure.

On another note, if you enjoy the amazing world-building that you must get from actually seeing and experiencing the world as opposed to massive lore dumps, I think you should check out Last Epoch. The world is one of the best ever, with one of the most interesting enemies also. You also experience the world in 4 "Time Epochs" (Pre-humanity era, Ancient Rome type era, Medieval era, and Fallen World era...basically Chrono Trigger world as an ARPG)

Don't expect the most compelling characters however. Your character is a robot who is unable to say no to some random walking up to them and asking if they could go get them 10 wolf pelts.... (grumble grumble stick that wolf pelt straight up his grumble grumble)
As far as I understand it, the crystal was transported outside by an experiment that is explained in the story by a text, although the exact explanation of the outside is debatable. For my understanding, the outside world is not a different world at all, but was separated from Drova Nebula by the experiments in Drova.

Finally, we learn in the game that the Bygones originally only had one colony in Drova and therefore there are certainly other places outside the fog that are inhabited. The fact that the druids in the prologue know about Drova and the gods, as well as their power, leads to the conclusion that they are descended from the Bygones.

Perhaps their empire has also perished in the outside world? Drivanus, on the other hand, must have died over time and may even have been accidentally bound to the "resurrection artifact". This kind of revival seems to be more of a side effect of the research.
