Do that, go inside, kill a stone beast and you can get that level.
Finley?
I know that Finley can give you one level for prospecting. Devs confirmed that in another thread. But I told others about his hideout and he didn't teach me anything. Now I wonder if I can actually get level 5 or not. Every teacher can only give you 1 level as far as I know.
I got a level from him but that was before I told anyone about his hideout.
Sad, seems like the only way of getting it is by playing the good guy for all of them.
Speak to the woman at the entrance of the Remnants camp. She tells you that Mattek could lead you there. If I remember correctly at least.
Seems im permanently locked out from having 5/5 :*(
Afaik if you talk to Jola she tells you that Mottek can guide you to the Pit, but I never talked to Jola about that and now there are no options to talk with Jola about the Pit (probably because I got to the Pit on my own, or because I started the "Weird Demeanor" quest, because it changed Jola's dialogue options).
Would be nice to have few extra teachers. I don't think it is good to be penalized for just doing things in a different order.
the silver mine guy? who?
there is a ruin on a hill in the center of the map. on the southside of the hill is a mine entrance. to gain the key you have to do a quest and inside another task to unlock one level of prospecting.
