lord of war and death statue in underground crypt by ruins raiders

i'm exploring the massive cave system that spans between the remnant camp and the tavern and there's a crypt room to the northeast of the ruins raiders area with a statue of the lord of war and death and two alcoves, one with a skeleton, and a very clear outline of a secret door in the wall between them. anybody know how to trigger this and open the door? there doesn't appear to be any switches or other obvious puzzle indications that I can see.

Is it the room with 2 skeletons? A parent holding a child?
If so, reach chapter 4 and do Lantern of Lament questline

You can do this much earlier starting the quest dreams of another world by delvering the first fossil in act 1 and complete to whole quest line in act 3. the skeleton thing you mentioned is the place for the second fosil still doable in act 1

dont worry normaly your right. quest will trigger in act one if your bringing the first fossil to the guy in the tavern wich sales mapes.
