Where can I find a bear?

I'm looking for a bear and haven't had no luck so far. Any leads?

Northeast from Inn is a cave

Took me a couple of tries but managed to down it on Act I, thanks! Made extensive use of poison knives for that one

the northeast one is easier since you can just dance around the stalactyte that blocks movement and just hit around it
If the player can be stopped from moving by a 20centimeter thick root, the charging bear can be stopped by a meter tall rock formation

I am having an unbelievable hard time killing that Northeast bear in the Act 1.
Is it even feasible with being level 11 and having a sword with attack 31 ?
What can i do to get it ?

I need the bear claws at least for the quest of the smith. (and I know I could steal the bear skin from the market trader, but I would rather not do that)

Pro Tip: Just use Crow's Feet and place them all over the place. Then concentrate on dodging. The bleed and slow effect will do the trick for you.

thank you ! this tip was a game changer. I scattered about 10 feet in the cave and ran around. unfortunately they disappear after a while, but I had a scroll of fire ring which gave the bear the rest.
