Get 5 crow's feet, place them all over the place and start the battle + run in circles. There is no easier and cheaper way then this to get the daggers. And you get the crow's feet back after the fight. :)
just now realised, that you can easily get Tinker trinket for 100% bonus damage on consumables, and use any throwing daggers instead of magic, since they bypass armor... or bombs...
Guess I would just drop the current run, wait for the next fix patch (droped my iron run, when one of the quest glitched and I got no fixed saved games via mail), and just do it on iron without buying any ammunition, components (except mandragora) or consumable and crafting just food, potions and elixirs
Otherwise, any opponent can be killed with enough amount of bear traps
It would be a fair challenge of using just what the game gives you
My thoughts as well. They have patched it out in 1.21, since this armor is overpowered and makes the faction armors look bad. Bandits now either kill me when I keep them too close or they de-aggro too early and run back and refresh their health.
