Where can you get dagger in early game fastest?

You probably have to run to Remnant.

there is one on the south part of the island with the wood cutter camp on it, though might be hard to avoid the rippers that early.

The first one that's good enough to actually use imo was from a vendor in the remnant camp. There's a dagger trainer in the northwest of the lower camp as well, where a group is fighting dummies.

There is also an option, where you can get a legendary dagger early. It is, however, quiet hard but doable:
1.) Go north from the lumbrejack camp, you will encounter a cave entrance
2.) Use search mode right klick to find foot print in the first cave system
3.) exit the cave system, leading to a green plateau for in the north east
4.) Try to get to the center of this area with search mode for more foot prints
5.) You will encounter spriggans and elder spriggans (can be farmed for more exp)
6.) The foot steps will lead to a circle with a mini boss calles leshen
7.) DO NOT encounter him as he is going to kill you with his life drain attack for sure
8.) move with caution around the cirlce, keep search mode active.
9.) You will encounter a cave entrance for a 2nd cave system
10.) Follow footsteps and exit the cave system
11.) You will find a big stone gate
12.) enter the gate, quick save for miniboss encounter
13.) Keep your weapon drawn in front of him
14.) Practice and cry a lot (I did it with old spear, traps)
15.) Loot the guy asap (you will meet him later, but no legendary drop
16.) Profit

I just found them behind a hidden brick in a building right before you enter the remnant camp. Just after you found (and hopefully pet) the cat, go into the destroyed building below and head to the last room on the left, there's a brick you can inspect. There i found them.
