If you want to have a pure-magic build, then there is none, so just ignore that stat until you find a teacher. You'll reach that area eventually anyways

You dont need first enter dark forest in chapter 1, to train your Mind attribute.
Reija from the ruin hunters teaches also the mind attribute in chapter 1. ;-)
