Best weapons

I’m wondering if anyone knows where I could find other legendary weapons besides the axe and daggers? Mainly a spear user and I hit a bit of a wall doing the arena in act 2

The ruin raider questline offers legendary weapons of every type once you finish gathering the sigils, but I would love to know of a legendary spear in the world itself, so far I've only found daggers, sword and an axe.

There is a legendary spear - I found it in the Northern Bygone ruins of the Forest Primeval.

Stats are:
Boar Spear - 50 Prowess

Attack Damage 39
Focus 5.

The spear rocks.

If you also look around that forest - near the bear you will find a legendary axe.

Boar Spear is purple tier. Orange tier is the best and should have about 100ish damage and 95 prowess. I'd have to check the exact stats

As far as purple-tier spears go, the best one I found I obtained by defeating Undefeated Ada OUTSIDE the arena. That was by far the most annoying fight I've ever attempted because she constantly tries to run at high speed towards other NPCs that will join against you, but won't move further than the edge of your view,

Go north of Woodcutters, past the shrine, roughly straight line until you reach the cave. Keep an eye out for a hidden path in the bottom left corner of that cave. Exit into the Knoll, follow that path until you reach the big fancy archway. Have fun in there.

In the big room with several paths blocked by spider silk, you want to go to the top leftmost path IIRC. Follow that along and it'll take you to the spear.

Didn't find any ranged weapons myself. If there are any placed in the world as opposed to Ruin Raiders, I'd be curious where they are.

The big fancy archway that has the one ruin raider with legendary daggers and a nice epic bow? Couldn't find any passage there down to your spoiler.

Can You please be more specific where to find the spear? which cave? which room?

The legendary spear can only be found in act 4 of the main story. It has 111 damage and needs 85 prowess, the best spear however has to be bought from the Ruin Raiders after finding all the sigils. That spear has 133 damage and needs 95 prowess and can be obtained as soon as you get all sigils and give them to Ede (can be done in act 1).

Can you beat Ada in chapter 1? I get her hp down to around 5% and she doesnt die.

This is a gladiator armor fo you: you get damage resistans for each % of HP missing(max 90%). So, those last 10% can be tough, but..... Ada is not the one to be afraid of.....
In Act 4 defeat Bady(not in the arena , but in the wild, near the Pit)

Have you tried traps? a nice stack of 30 crow feets is making the fight a lot more easier if your underlevelt. Constant bleed and slow and easy to come by you can eaven combine it togeher with the root traps. ^^

Don't know. I defeated Bady easily, but struggled with Ada. Somehow I don't have any problems with enemies who use sword/axes/daggers. I only have trouble against enemies with spears.
Ironcally, I am spear wielder myself.

Also, when Bady laughs, it gives plenty of opportunity to drink a potion or do extra attacks to lower his stance. Ada was constantly running away and I could never get her stance to 0.

There is the Runesword in the northeast of the map, you need to go through some caverns to find the exit... follow the footsteps and u will find a body which gives you the "blink" spell... when in act 4 u can use this spell to jump across the water and obtain it. 130dmg

I ended up cheesing Ada in chapter 1 by fighting her by her tent, she teleported past the torch and got stuck so I smacked away. It took some time to get that last 5% down, pretty crazy. Before that it was fight after fight where i would get her low and she would either reset or kill me.
