Ancient Armour

What is the best armour type for lategame?
Heavy
Light
or with runes?

I personally used the heavy armor and felt invincible pretty much. I assume it's a matter of playstyle. Runes gives like 20% bonus magic damage and light reduces dodge stamina drain by 50%. But based on stats alone the heavy armor is the best one if you get hit a lot.
