Any Greatswords/Two-handed Swords?
Love the game so far, but are there any Greatswords in the game, or are Axes the only Two-handed weapons?
Just wondering for aesthetic reasons and weapon preference, that's all.

I would like to know this aswell. I'm more of a sword guy, and I hate swordboard style.

Found my first main weapon shop, and it seems like...
Swords: One-handed
Spears: One-handed
Axes: Two-handed
Daggers: Two-handed

Not seen anything else that breaks that mold from items I've picked up either.

Yeah at about 9 hours in this seems to be accurate.

Darn shame. Guess I'm an axe main now, but thankfully I have experience breaking my greatsword only rule from wow classic.

Dammit... That's a shame. Well, guess I have to put my hopes in modders, if that becomes a thing for this game.

Remember you get an alt attack if you don't use a shield with your sword. You gain a stab with a good range and higher damage than your normal attack

I am curious too. I like playing with spear and it does have quite nice secondary attack but it somehow feels wrong to play one handed weapon without shield :D or is it the intended way?

No two-handed swords in game is a bummer. It would be nice if the devs include some in the future updates.

Well, to be fair, it is very fitting for the setting. Considering prevalence of bronze and emergence of iron it would roughly correspond to at least 1200 BC very possibly later. Forget about steel in those times, it's iron that is the newest hot thing. Who knows how the Empire (somewhat Roman-like) applies to it all although the Roman Empire itself was created around 750 BC. Also remember that two handed swords are actually hilariously advanced and they weren't a thing until around middle of 13th to 14th centuries AD. So yeah, Celts mainly used one handed swords, spears, long daggers, axes (both one and two handed) along with shields, slings, and bow. The game is accurate about that.

The one thing I'm sad about that is that the axes seem to be strictly two handed ordeal or at least I've yet to find any one handed ones. Pity considering they were prominent (axe is waaaay easier to create than the sword) and even that character on title screen uses one along with a shield

Actualy, longswords where rather common in antiquity, at least in the west of Europe. Gauls and germans specificaly where using longsword quite often enough.

And yes, longswords where actualy two handed swords. They may not have been as long as later two handed swords of the late middle ages, but they tended to be as large as longswords of the 14 century used to be.
