I really enjoy it - just play for some time and decide for yourself. You can still refund it if you don't enjoy it, after all :) If you enjoy it tho, try Gothic 1 and 2. They are really good.

Gothic always seemed cool but I felt like it would be too obtuse to try to play it in 2024. I wouldn’t be against giving it a shot though. I think Mandalore did a video on it some years back and it sounded like a cool premise.

it's not just the body types. there's also a gross overrepresentation of women among warriors and miners. not that it's wrong to portray women as warriors in a fantasy setting, mind you. but when 50% of typically male roles are grizzled females (sorry, body types 2), it's jarring and annoying.
