The sick bandit woman

SPOILERS:

There's a sick bandit woman in a tent near a river, on the road to the pit. A note gives the impression that with a bear's heart and sludgelotus, you can help her. But having those things in my inventory does not give me any new options when interacting with her. What am I missing?

Are they the ones who demanded payment earlier in the game? They just tell me to leave.
